ToggleExams Scheduled in September
According to the RPSC Secretary:
- Assistant Prosecution Officer (Preliminary) Examination 2026 will be held on September 2, 2026.
- Inspector of Factories & Boilers Examination 2025 and Inspector of Factories (Chemical) Examination 2025 will be conducted on September 19, 2026.
The Commission stated that the correction facility has been provided solely for the convenience of candidates. Any changes made must comply with the eligibility conditions mentioned in the original recruitment advertisement. No offline correction requests will be accepted.
Correction Fee and Procedure
Candidates wishing to edit their applications must pay a ₹500 correction fee through e-Mitra or online banking.
Applications can be edited by:
- Visiting the RPSC Online Portal and selecting the Apply Online option, or
- Logging into the SSO Portal, opening Citizen Apps, and selecting the Recruitment Portal to make the required corrections.

Candidates Can Also Withdraw Applications
RPSC has also allowed candidates who do not meet the required eligibility criteria or who no longer wish to appear for the examination to withdraw their applications online between July 18 and July 24, 2026.
Applications can be withdrawn by logging into the SSO Portal, selecting the Recruitment Portal, and clicking the Withdraw button under the My Recruitment section for the relevant examination.
Warning Against False Applications
The Commission warned that submitting applications based on false or misleading information and failing to withdraw an ineligible application is a punishable offence under Section 217 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Candidates found ineligible during counselling, document verification, or interviews may also face debarment from RPSC recruitment examinations for one year.
One-Time Registration (OTR) Rules
RPSC also reminded candidates about the Rajasthan Government’s One-Time Registration (OTR) policy.
Under the new rules:
- Candidates who remain absent in two recruitment examinations within the same financial year will have their OTR account blocked.
- To restore the facility:
- A fee of ₹750 must be paid after the first two absences.
- If absent in another two examinations during the same financial year, the restoration fee will increase to ₹1,500.
Candidates who are not planning to appear for the examination are advised to withdraw their applications within the prescribed period to avoid penalties under the OTR policy.
