India Prime Tv Ajmer, Rajasthan: Israeli Tourist Misbehavior Viral Video Ajmer Police have arrested four young men after an old video showing alleged misbehavior and objectionable remarks directed at an Israeli woman tourist at the Kishangarh dumping yard went viral on social media.
The incident came to light after the video was widely circulated online, prompting the police to take suo motu cognizance of the matter and launch an investigation.
Police Act After Video Goes Viral
The viral video shows the Israeli tourist recording a video at the Kishangarh marble dumping yard. A group of local youths can allegedly be seen making inappropriate and objectionable remarks toward her.
After the video resurfaced and gained widespread attention on social media, Ajmer Police immediately began efforts to identify those seen in the footage.
A special team comprising personnel from Gandhi Nagar Police Station and the cyber cell was formed on the directions of Ajmer Superintendent of Police Harshvardhan Agrawala.
Four Accused Arrested
According to media reports, police identified and arrested four youths in connection with the incident.
The accused have been identified as Mohammed Farhan (25), Mohammed Asim (21), Farhan (24) and Akhtar Ali (22), residents of the Ramner Road area.
Police used technical investigation and local intelligence to trace the individuals allegedly seen in the viral video.
Accused Apologise After Arrest
A video of the four accused apologising has also surfaced. In the video, they are seen with folded hands and lowered heads, expressing regret over their conduct.
The police action came after the video attracted significant attention on social media.
Video Reportedly Several Years Old
According to reports, the incident shown in the video is not recent. The footage is believed to be around three to four years old but resurfaced on social media recently.
The renewed circulation of the video prompted the police to take action and identify the people allegedly involved.
Tourist Thanks Rajasthan Police
Following the police action, the Israeli tourist, identified in media reports as Galia Kovo, expressed gratitude to Rajasthan and Ajmer Police.
The incident has once again highlighted the importance of ensuring the safety, dignity and respectful treatment of foreign tourists visiting Rajasthan.
Ajmer Police have reiterated that appropriate action will be taken against those found involved in such incidents.
