A deal with Concacaf will see the streamer show the Concacaf Nations League finals and the Concacaf Gold Cup tournaments, starting in 2027.

Netflix has unveiled a deal with the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf) to stream in Mexico the Nations League finals and the Concacaf Gold Cup tournaments, starting in 2027.
The four-year deal will make Netflix the exclusive home in that Latin American market for the 2027 and 2029 editions of both competitions, where the Mexican national team and players feature. The CONCACAF Gold Cup final viewership falls short of the World Cup, which will get underway this summer, but it has grown in North America.
“At Netflix, we are increasingly investing in live events that connect with our audience’s greatest passions, and football is, without a doubt, the passion that unites us as Mexicans,” Carolina Leconte, vp of content for Mexico and Latin America acquisitions at Netflix, said in a statement. “Concacaf national team matches bring together millions of fans in Mexico like few other events can. We are thrilled that, over the coming years, fans in Mexico will be able to experience the Concacaf Nations League Finals and the Concacaf Gold Cup exclusively on Netflix, with no additional fees.”
The addition of live soccer games to Netflix’s Mexico market offerings moves the streamer beyond the soccer-themed documentaries and dramedies that previously featured on its schedule, and puts it in competition for live sports against TelevisaUnivision.
The fifth edition of the Concacaf Nations League Finals will be played in March 2027 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California, while the 19th edition of the Concacaf Gold Cup, featuring 16 teams, will be played in summer 2027. The Concacaf agreement is exclusive to Mexico and to the Concacaf men’s national team competitions.
“We are very excited to partner with Netflix in Mexico as we continue to strengthen how fans connect with our premier national team competitions,” Philippe Moggio, Concacaf general secretary, added in his own statement. Concacaf is one of FIFA’s six continental confederations, covering soccer teams from Canada up north to Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana in the south.
