
KANSAS CITY — Food manufacturers are unveiling new options for consumers to appease their “sweet treat” cravings.
Nestle USA is unveiling reimagined recipes for its Nestle Toll House cookie brand. The chocolate remix cookie dough features three cookie dough varieties.
The company’s naturally flavored brown butter variety is made with brown butter and vanilla flavoring and milk chocolate morsels.
The oatmeal flavor contains oats, cinnamon and milk chocolate morsels.
Nestle Toll House’s inside out cookie features cocoa cookie dough with vanilla flavoring and white candy morsels.
“We’re putting a fresh spin on a timeless classic to offer a more elevated at-home baking experience,” said Andrew Kneale, senior manager of brand marketing at Nestle Toll House. “The new Nestle Toll House chocolate chip remix cookie doughs blend on-trend flavors into our original recipe, offering fans a new way to discover the magic in every bite.”
David is introducing a frozen dessert line. The pint-sized desserts are available in four flavors: cookie dough, triple peanut butter, triple chocolate and vanilla bean. Each pint delivers approximately 30 grams of protein.
McKee Foods is rolling out Little Debbie Mocha Swiss Rolls. The snack cake is made with chocolate cake, mocha coffee-flavored creme and a fudge coating.
“Our product development team really listened to what our consumers wanted,” said Scott Brownlow, brand manager of Little Debbie. “The early feedback has been incredible. We are thrilled to bring this highly-anticipated flavor to the market.”
