Timeline of the Incident
The deceased has been identified as Dr. Kiran Honannavar (45), an anesthesiologist residing at Ranka Stelo Apartment in Dharwad. Family members became suspicious after he failed to answer repeated phone calls from Tuesday evening onward. When relatives visited his residence on Wednesday evening, they discovered the horrifying scene and alerted the police.
Police Discover a Horrific Crime Scene
When the Hubballi-Dharwad Police arrived at the apartment, officers found Dr. Honannavar lying in a pool of blood. His eight-year-old son, Nishith, was also found with severe injuries.
According to police officials, Dr. Priyanka, the victim’s wife and an ophthalmologist by profession, was reportedly found sitting in another room using her mobile phone when officers entered the apartment.
