FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) -In response to escalating winter weather conditions, multiple businesses and government services across the region are announcing operational changes Friday.
Blue Cross Blue Shield Delays Opening
Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota released a statement addressing operational changes across the region. Due to a no-travel advisory affecting the Grand Forks area, the company’s Grand Forks office will delay its opening until 10 a.m. today.
Meanwhile, the company’s Fargo location will maintain regular business hours.
City of Grand Forks Closes Landfill
The City of Grand Forks announced in a press release it will close the landfill at 12:30 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2026, due to high winds. The landfill will reopen tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m.
