This major suspension includes high-traffic hubs like Rajiv Chowk, New Delhi, Mandi House, ITO, and Central Secretariat. While interchange facilities remain operational inside Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House, and Central Secretariat, the New Delhi metro station is shut down entirely, which has also halted Airport Express Line services between New Delhi and Dhaula Kuan.
This massive closure, combined with heavy police barricading around Connaught Place, India Gate, and Parliament Street, has triggered severe traffic congestion and route diversions across the city center, while mobile internet services have been temporarily suspended or throttled in the sensitive protest areas to maintain law and order.
