Indiaprime National Desk Delhi.A wave of panic swept through the Gosaipurva (Jhauhna) village under the Kotwali Dehat police station area in Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh, after the bodies of four members of the same family were discovered.


The deceased have been identified as 28-year-old Bajrangi Giri, his wife Komal, their 3-year-old daughter Shraddha, and their 10-month-old son Jaideep. According to preliminary police investigations and forensic evidence, the incident appears to be a case of murder-suicide driven by extreme mental stress.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Vikas Kumar stated that two illegal country-made pistols, spent cartridges, and blood-stained scissors were recovered from the crime scene; gunshot wounds were found on the bodies of the wife, daughter, and Bajrangi himself, while the infant son bore injury marks.

The police also recovered a suicide video from the deceased's mobile phone, in which he mentioned wiping out the entire family due to severe financial distress caused by a pending ₹29 lakh debt that was not being repaid to him. Currently, the police have sent all four bodies for post-mortem examination and have launched an intensive legal investigation against the suspects involved in the monetary dispute based on the video evidence.
