Heavy rainfall and severe waterlogging in Mumbai led to the death of a 60-year-old man after he accidentally fell into an open manhole in the Chandivali area.
Two others narrowly escaped electrocution in rainwater-logged areas as civic authorities intensified emergency operations across the city.
Arunachal Pradesh
Although no deaths have been officially reported, 21 people were injured due to landslides and rain-related road accidents triggered by continuous rainfall.
