RSSB Clerk Grade-II / Junior Assistant Exam 2026 Today: 90,000 Candidates Set to Appear Across Rajasthan, Entry Rules Strict

India Prime Education Desk | Jaipur | July 5, 2026 RSSB Exam 2026 Today The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) is conducting the Clerk Grade-II / Junior Assistant Combined Direct Recruitment Examination 2026 across the state today, Sunday, July 5. Around 90,000 candidates are expected to appear at 234 examination centres for recruitment to 10,644 government posts in the Rajasthan Secretariat, RPSC, and various state government departments.

Authorities have implemented tight security arrangements, CCTV surveillance, flying squads, biometric verification, and police deployment to ensure a fair and transparent examination.

Exam Schedule

The examination is being conducted in two shifts:

  • Paper-I: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM
  • Paper-II: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Candidates are required to report at least two hours before the examination begins.

Entry Gate Timing

RSSB has made it clear that entry gates will close exactly one hour before the examination starts.

  • Morning Shift Gate Closing: 8:30 AM
  • Afternoon Shift Gate Closing: 2:00 PM

No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre after the gates are closed under any circumstances.

Mandatory Documents

Candidates must carry:

  • Printed Admit Card
  • Original Photo Identity Card (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving Licence, Passport etc.)
  • Blue transparent ball pen

Candidates whose Aadhaar details are not updated are advised to carry an additional government-issued identity proof.

Items Strictly Prohibited

The following items are completely banned inside examination centres:

  • Mobile phones
  • Smart watches
  • Bluetooth devices
  • Earphones
  • Calculators
  • Electronic gadgets
  • Notes, books or papers
  • Wallets and handbags (where prohibited)

Possession of any prohibited item may lead to immediate cancellation of candidature.

Security Arrangements

To prevent unfair means, the state government has deployed:

  • Flying squads
  • Static magistrates
  • CCTV surveillance
  • Police security
  • Biometric and identity verification at several centres

Authorities have warned that strict legal action will be taken against impersonation, cheating, dummy candidates, or paper leak attempts.

  • Reach the examination centre well before reporting time to avoid last-minute congestion.
  • Verify the examination centre location in advance.
  • Follow the prescribed dress code and board guidelines.
  • Read all instructions carefully before filling the OMR sheet.
  • Do not leave the examination hall until permitted by the invigilator.
