KANSAS CITY — Tim Statts, vice president of commodity services at Schneider Electric, highlighted the challenges facing energy markets at the 2026 Sosland Purchasing Seminar, including how the continued closure of the Strait of Hormuz significantly impacts commodities worldwide.
 Statts projected the price of crude oil may climb as high as $150 per barrel if the Strait does not reopen.
