EPFO Services Down Until June 28, Due to System Upgrade

EPFO Services Down

IndiaPrimeTV Business Desk | Updated: June 26, 2026 EPFO Services Down Until June 28,The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has announced that several of its online services will remain temporarily unavailable until June 28, 2026, due to a scheduled system upgrade and maintenance activity.

During this maintenance window, EPFO members and employers may experience interruptions while accessing digital services, including PF withdrawals, claim submissions, account transfers, and other online facilities.

Which Services Will Be Affected?

According to the EPFO, the following online services may remain unavailable or experience temporary disruptions:

  • Online PF Withdrawal
  • Online Claim Submission
  • PF Account Transfer
  • Pension-related Claims
  • KYC Update Services
  • UAN-based Online Services
  • Joint Declaration and Member Profile Updates
  • Employer-related Online Functions

Users attempting to access these services during the maintenance period may encounter delays or temporary errors.

Why Are the Services Being Suspended?

EPFO is carrying out a planned system upgrade and technical maintenance to improve the security, performance, and reliability of its digital platform.

The upgrade is aimed at enhancing user experience and ensuring smoother processing of provident fund-related services in the future.

What Should EPFO Members Do?

Members who are planning to submit PF withdrawal requests, transfer applications, or update KYC details are advised to wait until the maintenance work is completed.

Those who have already submitted their claims do not need to file a fresh application. Processing may take slightly longer during the maintenance period but is expected to resume once the services are restored.

When Will Services Resume?

EPFO has indicated that the online services are expected to become operational again after June 28, 2026, once the maintenance work is successfully completed.

If the upgrade finishes ahead of schedule, some services may be restored earlier.

Advisory for Employers and Subscribers

EPFO has requested employers and subscribers to avoid repeated login attempts or multiple claim submissions during the maintenance period, as this could further delay processing.

Members are encouraged to monitor official EPFO updates for confirmation when all services are fully restored.

Key Highlights

  • EPFO online services suspended until June 28, 2026.
  • PF withdrawal, online claims, account transfer, and KYC services affected.
  • Temporary shutdown due to system upgrade and maintenance.
