
IndiaPrimetv Jaipur | July 17, 2026 A mega employment assistance camp was organized on Friday at Pratap Stadium, Chitrakoot, Jaipur, by the Department of Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship, bringing together job seekers and private employers under one roof.
The event was inaugurated by Cabinet Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, who holds the portfolios of Industries & Commerce, Youth Affairs & Sports, and Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship.
Addressing the gathering, Rathore said Rajasthan has immense opportunities in sectors such as education, tourism, mining, and solar energy. He encouraged young people to enhance their skills with dedication and integrity, stating that today’s skilled employees will become tomorrow’s job creators.
The minister reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to providing employment through both public and private sectors. He highlighted that the Rising Rajasthan initiative, launched under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, has attracted investments aimed at creating new employment opportunities across the state.
Rathore also noted that the government has already conducted more than 24 employment camps, helping thousands of young people secure jobs. He emphasized the government’s focus on connecting candidates with employment opportunities close to their home districts to reduce financial and social hardships.
Additional Chief Secretary Sandeep Verma said the mega job fair not only featured private employers but also included government departments that informed candidates about various welfare and employment schemes.
According to Joint Director of the Divisional Employment Office, Jaipur, Navrekha, the fair witnessed participation from 50 private employers representing sectors including construction, logistics, hospitality, banking, healthcare, information technology, pharmaceuticals, security services, e-commerce, and call centres.
A total of 4,160 candidates registered online for the event, while 2,770 job seekers attended the fair. Following interviews conducted by participating companies, 1,321 candidates were provisionally shortlisted for employment.
In addition, 527 candidates expressed interest in enrolling in skill development courses to enhance their employability.
During the event, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore personally handed over offer letters to 18 selected candidates. Successful applicants received job offers with annual salary packages ranging from ₹2 lakh to ₹5 lakh.
The mega employment fair reflects the Rajasthan government’s continued efforts to strengthen skill development, improve employability, and create meaningful job opportunities for the state’s youth.
