Suicide attack in Pakistan

Hostilities between the United States and Iran have sharply escalated into a full-scale regional confrontation following successive military waves. The situation remains highly volatile following a major series of multi-front developments:
  • Deep-Penetration US Airstrikes Expand North: In its latest operations, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has extended its aerial assault beyond the Strait of Hormuz to hit northern and western Iran for the first time. Explosions and air defenses have been reported deep inside the country, including Semnan, Lorestan, and parts of the capital, Tehran. Earlier precision strikes battered coastal infrastructure in Bandar Abbas, Chabahar, Qeshm Island, and the strategically vital Greater Tunb Island.
  • Iran Launches Multi-Nation “Eye-for-an-Eye” Counter-Attacks: Operating under a synchronized response, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched massive waves of ballistic missiles and attack drones against American military facilities in neighboring Gulf countries. Air raid sirens blanketed the region:
    • Kuwait: Heavily targeted, with drones aiming at radar networks, fuel storage fields, and Patriot missile defense grids at the Ali Al Salem and Ahmed Al-Jaber Air Bases. Local officials confirmed intercepting 21 drones and four missiles.
    • Bahrain: Direct aerial salvos struck US military assets at the Sheikh Isa Air Base, primarily targeting Patriot infrastructure and Super Hawk radar units.
    • Jordan: The IRGC confirmed striking the al-Azraq and Prince Hassan Air Bases, claiming the installations were used to orchestrate US operations. Jordan’s military announced it successfully shot down eight of the incoming Iranian missiles.

  • US Enforces Strict Naval Blockade on Ports: Demonstrating absolute enforcement of its reimposed port blockade, a US military aircraft fired Hellfire missiles into the smokestack of the Curacao-flagged empty oil tanker M/T Belma. According to CENTCOM, the ship was disabled while trying to cross the blockaded zone toward Kharg Island.
  • Civilian Hospital Damage and Casualties Rise: Severe domestic fallout is being felt in southwestern Iran. A US strike that hit near the Shahid Baghaei Hospital in Ahvaz—a facility specializing in chemotherapy for children with cancer—triggered panic, forcing medical staff to execute an emergency evacuation of 211 patients. The Iranian Health Ministry reports that the escalating conflict has already wounded more than 300 individuals.
  • Red Lines and Existential Vows: High-ranking Iranian military spokespeople warned that Tehran views the Strait of Hormuz as an uncrossable red line and will systematically sabotage broader regional energy and transport infrastructure if the US targets its primary civilian systems. Top Iranian negotiators have publicly declared that the interim peace deal is formally voided and that the country is now fighting an “existential war”.

    • US-Iran Tensions Escalate: The conflict between the United States and Iran has intensified significantly. The US launched fresh airstrikes targeting military bases linked to threats in the Strait of Hormuz. In retaliation, Iran executed its largest-scale attack to date on US bases located in Bahrain. Amidst the soaring geopolitical friction, Iran has also summoned the British Ambassador.
    • FIFA World Cup 2026: Argentina secured their spot in the FIFA World Cup final for the second consecutive tournament after defeating England 2-1 in a thrilling semifinal clash. Late goals from Lautaro Martínez and Enzo Fernández sealed the historic victory for the South American champions in the final moments of the match.
    • Proposed US Sanctions on Russian Oil Buyers: A new sanctions bill has been introduced in the US Senate targeting countries that continue to purchase oil and gas from Russia. The bill proposes imposing up to a 100% tariff on nations defying these restrictions, directly aiming at India, China, and three other countries.
