indiaprime ICrime Desk  I Road Accidents: 13 Dead in Separate Tragic Incidents A total of 13 people lost their lives in two separate road accidents. The first occurred on the Bana-Seppa Road in Arunachal Pradesh, and the second in the Shahabad Kotwali area of Hardoi district, Uttar Pradesh.

In Arunachal Pradesh, a car carrying two families fell into a gorge after a massive landslide on Friday night, killing all 7 occupants. In Uttar Pradesh, a car returning from a wedding overturned early Saturday morning, leaving 6 people dead and 5 others injured.


Arunachal Tragedy: Car Falls Into Gorge After Landslide, 7 Dead from Same Family

A devastating accident occurred on Friday night on the Bana-Seppa Road in Arunachal Pradesh. Due to continuous rainfall, a landslide swept a car off the road into a deep gorge. All 7 occupants, members of two related families, were killed.

The deceased have been identified as:

  • Sanju Badi (approx. 32 years)

  • His wife, Tasum Badi

  • Their two children:

    • Kachung Badi (5 years)

    • Nicha Badi (2 years)

  • A pregnant woman

  • Wife of Sichi Yame

  • Two children of Sichi Yame

Local authorities have confirmed all deaths.


Bana-Seppa Road: A History of Accidents

This road is infamous for landslides, especially during the monsoon season.
Residents have long complained about poor road conditions and the absence of warning systems.

Challenges in Rescue Operation:
Heavy rain and thick mud severely hampered rescue efforts.
Emergency teams were deployed, but poor weather conditions delayed their response.


Hardoi Road Accident: Car Overturns While Returning from Wedding, 6 Dead, 5 Injured

In Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh, a heart-wrenching accident occurred early Saturday around 3 AM. A car returning from a wedding overturned into a ditch near Ghazipur on the Alamnagar road, killing six people and injuring five others.

Accident Details:

  • The wedding party was returning from Kusuma village in the Pali police station area.

  • The crash happened near the Manjila police station jurisdiction.

Victims Who Lost Their Lives:

  • Jitendra (35), son of Raghuveer

  • Siddharth (5), son of Jitendra

  • Akash (22), son of Raghuveer

  • Ramu (25), son of Vishram (driver)

  • Johri (40), son of Ramlal

  • Udayveer (18), son of Amreesh – died at the hospital

All deceased were residents of the Pali police station area.


Injured in the Accident:

  • Narendra (18), son of Asharam

  • Ranjit (18), son of Ramprakash

  • Aman (21), son of Ramshankar

  • Parvind (18), son of Ramsharan

  • Neeraj (17), son of Ramsharan

  • Anil (24), son of Moolchand – cousin of Neeraj

All injured were taken to the district hospital. Some were later referred for advanced treatment.


Police Statement:

Circle Officer (CO) Shahabad, Anuj Kumar said:

“The car overturned while returning from a wedding. Police immediately reached the spot, sent the injured to the hospital, and shifted the bodies for post-mortem.”
